The fourth competiton to be held by the WHWT Club of England took place on Sunday 7th of February at the Sketchley Grange Hotel.
The invited judges were kept secret until just before the judging commenced.
They were:

Mr Jesus Pastor (Alborada - Spain)
Mrs Liz Cartledge (Ryslip)
The Puppy competition took place first.
The winner was declared as Karamynd Play It Again
called Morgan, owned and bred by Jennie Griffiths
by Ch Krisma Streetwise ex Ch Karamynd Play To The Crowd
Runner up was Lynnsto Barclaycard
owned and bred by Mich Dale
Both these dogs qualified for the all breed Pup of the Year competition, Morgan was 2nd at the finals in January.
After lunch the dogs were judged.
The winner was Champion Lamsmore Fitzwritin
called Alfie, owned by Angus Gordon, bred by Sandra Sizmore
by Ch Krisma Streetwise ex UK/Int Ch Lamsmore Miss Brodie
Runner up was Duskhunter Dutch Courage
owned and bred by Linda Minett
The bitch competiton followed:
The winner was Champion Bellevue Town Flirt at Gilbri
called Kizzy, owned by Tracy & Ray Gaydon,
bred by Tina Squire
by Irish/UK Ch Gilbri Talk Of The Town
ex Bellevue Specially Maid
Reserve was Charosmack Crystal Secret at Swifdon
owned by Christine Morton, bred by Roz Dunne
Then the final took place between Fitzwritin and Town Flirt, with Fitzwritin taking the title of Dog of the Year 2009, after winning the Puppy competition last year. Alfie won his title in 2009 with 6CCs and several Terrier Group places, ending the year with the Terrier Group & Best in Show at LKA.
At Manchester recently, he won his 7th CC, BOB and Group#2.
